Default why is my motor stalling? fuel-related? need help

hey, i have a b16a3 motor in my 94 hatch that i just bought. the setup previously was turbocharged, but the bottom end is new. car kept stalling randomly on me when i would just drive it around, so everyone figured it was a fuel pressure problem obviously. fuel pressure was around 45psi at idle and that is too rich, so i leaned it out (with the aeromotive fpr) to around 38psi (idle). the car seemed to run fine and dandy for a day, now i try to start it up, and it turns-over but it just dies... it chugs for a few seconds and the rpms go up slightly but quickly drop down and the motor stalls. i need to take it to a shop to get dyno tuned asap, but it has a fields sfc-vtec controller... anyone have any idea what's going on? i don't want to mess around with it too much without any advice, so anything would be appreciated. im not sure if i posted enough info required to diagnose the problem.
