this is an open ended question. It really depends on so many variables (e.g. home owners, marital status, driving record, zip code, car, etc, etc.) to determine the right company for you.

Each insurance company has their own "target market" so their rates really vary per type of driver.

I am 27 but my car insurance is tied in with my homeowners insurane so I save quite a bit. I was with Allstate.
Why switch if you are under your dad's policy?

i should say that i dont have insurance but my dad has~ the allstate insurance agent said as long as we have the car insured~ anyone can drive the car~ the agent is my dads friend~ i think we are getting a pretty good deal (lexus, eclipse gs-t and integra ls for $800 something a yr) but because of this i need to change the ownership title of the cars (gst n ls) to my dads name~(about 2 yrs ago) which is fine at first but then later on, my stepmom think the GS-T is my dads car and she wont let me drive that car~ my stepmom is the one driving the GS-T now but hey its my car and she wont even let me drive it~ wtf!!! thats y i want to change the title back to my name and by doing this i need to have my own insurance~
