Default Fog light help!! ('99+ EK)

installed my fogs in my '00 Si. Worked fine for about 3 weeks. then one day they just stopped working.

So far i've done the following:

Checked both bulbs - neither are blown, both in good shape, only used 3 weeks.
Checked all fuses - none blown
Checked connections to fog lights and harnesses - cant see anyting visably wrong?

Now, my question is, what should i do to keep trouble shooting? im thinking perhaps a ground im using isnt good?

The ground wire they supply is very short and is meant to go to some bolt behind my dash, it was a pain in the *** so i used a different bolt. my question is this: can i just cut the "loop" off of the end of the ground, splice in about 4 more feet of wire and find a more accessible ground some place else? does the length of the ground wire hinder the electrical output?

Sure, you can do that and it won't hinder the the electrical output.

Did you check the actual switch? Sometimes they can go bad..

did you check the actual relay itself? did you use one? if you didn't then your switch is probably burnt up.
