Default E-brake cable woes!!

Ok i finally got around at an attempt to hooking up my ebrake today after not having it hooked up for like 6 months since my disk brake swap. I have a crx dx btw and I got 90-93 integra ebrake cables. now I know they are a little long but I cant find a way to reroute them that suites me and when I try hooking them up to my brake handle it seems as if that metal thing that holes the cables is slanted a funky way and I cant get the adjuster nut to do right. Any tips? Maybe I should just try to find a set of 90-91 si cables? Anyone wanna trade me or buy mine? This is becoming a major headache for me and I need your help. To hook up these cables do you need to unbolt the ebrake handle and the bracket and everything? I guess im asking what is the sequence when doing this?

i did my brake swap and the only thing i did different from the regular route was run the e brake cbles through a different hole in the trailing arms and they fit perfect. but then again i have a civic. for they crx you would be better off with the 90-91 crx cables.

are the ebrake cables new? if not that coudl be why one is longer than the other... one may be stretched a bit

well besides the brake cables does anyone have any suggestions why the adjusting nut seems to be hitting the 2 bolts that hold the bracket down that the cables slide through to hook to the ebrake?

lol...i had that problem....its kinda trickey...u just have to hook up the shorter of the two cables (you may have to pulll it out with plyeres.)...then pull the other one out...and hook it up...yes you have to unbolt the whole e-brake assembly. but it shoud only be the 2, 12mm bolts at the back....and then after u get the cables hooked up.. u have to wiggle and force the bolts in. and as far as the cables go....i got mine off of a 4-door teg...and if i can get them to fit i know u can get urs on.. I had to put a big loop in mine...up around the gas tank and back down. it made the e-brake stiff...but u just cant get them in a bind...

good luck...ilve never posted pics before...so it may take a while....but ima try to get pics to u.
