a/c question

Default a/c question

hello everybody

i would like to know if the a/c splits for two different devices (cooling/heating)
my country is very hot .

is there any chance to dissamble the heating device (and keep the cooling) to reduce wight of the car...?

not exactly sure on your question...but if i understand correct, your asking if the heating and a/c system are seperate...

yes they are, you can remove your heater core if you really wanted to, just makre sure u cover up the hole thats left in the plastic box (you will know what i mean if u attempt it) where the heater core used to be

weighs maybe 3-4 lbs plus coolant

u need to pull out the whole dash to get to the heater box
