OK, I live in a shady area this semester in San Jose, I dant want my pride and joy stolen!! My dad lives in Monterey, like 1.25 hours away, and I can keep the rex there. My buddy wants to sell a teal hatch (eg) with 125K on it, its mint!! It has rims and a stereo. I would just get some steel rims (sell the 17's) and sell the stereo, he wants 2K for it, should I get it? Its very clean, no damage. what do yall think??

offer like 1500 and tell him to keep the wheels and system.

 

2k is CHEAP for cali.

if you really have the cash, then sure. i'm sure you can sell it for the same price later if you want. plus, the cash from the rims and stereo. but, that one could get stolen too! friggin thieves.

 

You should spend the 2 grand on lojack or something. And spend the leftover on your motor.

 

I guess im just ignorant to the fact that even the hatch (all stock) could get jacked. But I wouldnt think so, its a ugly color (to a lot of people anyways), and no mods. But I guess even then...

How much is lo-jack? Isnt it nearly 700 bux? Is it a dealer install? Thanks
