J's racing CF intake in DA Integra?
I am curious to see if anyone out there has put a J's racing intake for the ITR on a DA integra w/ b16a. I have heard it could be possible, and it seems that way since the ITR CAI will fit.
****...looks like it's going to be that way too. I think I am going to give it a try in another couple of weeks. We'll see how it goes. Anyone given this a shot???
I think I'll borrow my friends when he gets it.

i have a stock ITR intake arm + apexi filter in my 2nd gen integra with battery moved to the back. i THINK the J's intake should fit but will be a very tight fit? the only thing i would worry about is AC line...but if you dont have AC..i dont see why it wont fit

I may just try this out. I think it would fit since I have moved my battery to the rear and slightly modified my A/C lines (got angry at them and started bending). It's a mega-expensive intake though. I know I can't use the Comptech box since I decided to keep my GAY/C. Unless of course the ITR intake actually runs through the fenderwell. My friends on his EK runs down by the header (kinda).

I'll do what I can. It's a hard to find intake. Maybe if i can pick one up for a good price. I'm sure one of my friends would buy it. I am concerned with the A/C getting in the way of it.
If I remember correctly, the J's racing is actually a copy of the Top Fuel intake. Comptech Icebox is probably what you are thinking about. Mugen makes a different intake...I forget the name right now.

KTeller8- That was a dyno for that motor. It will vary with each motor (I know you know that). I also wanted to do it for a uniqueness factor. Plus it saves a pinch of weight.
Vtaaak y0-I have no battery in the front, so I'm good to go there.
I would love it someone 'helped' me try this out...you know buy me a brand new J's intake, or send me there old one for free...j/k guys.

well I hope someone tries this. I hate how our cars and CRX's have that crazy curved around intake. It's too many bends in my opinion

Doohhh!!! KTeller 8 lays the smack down.
I'm not too fond of the curves either. I am pretty sure we can use the ITR's intake on our cars (the stock box). It's 3" and straight. I should just quit asking questions about fitment and get an EK or a DC...then I'll be fine.
Go on to EBAY and type in J's Racing...search...there should be plenty of them for sale on there.
