What is this connect to its on the back of the type R manifold and it has a black cap on it. i just capped it off but want to know what its suppose to be connected to thanks

i belive that nipple goes to the map sensor

 

For the Evap system-vacuum to the charcoal cannister. It goes to the purge control solenoid valve first. At least on my 01 ITR.

BTW lose the orig.jpg on the pics.
