Default Paint Job questions....

Hey i own a 95 Black prelude vtec and it needs some body work. Recently my buddies sister backed up into the prelude and Dented in the Fender (pretty bad) and Cracked one of my JDM headlights... I went to the "body shop" thats very reputable and quoted me... 386 + the price of the headlights ( i have to buy online cause they're not oem)... Now, my 95 is not in the best of shape...... The front bumper needs to be repainted ( step dad hit my car) and the REAR has to be repainted .. ( was on there when i bought it ) and theyre minor rust in the quarter panels.....

MY question is.. would it be worht it to get the whole CAR painted and fixed at 1 time, so that the body guy wouldn't hve to blend my new paint with teh OLD FADED black???

how much $$ extra do u think this woudl run me.... Im thinkin bout cutting the metal out of the quarter panels and Prepping ( fiberglassing, sanding, spot priming) them

if the paint is old kinda faded and its chipping then i suggest to paint it all. I replaced the right front fender(new aftermarket) cost me 35.00. I paid for the paint which was close to 500.00 bucks and the painter is an old friend of mine. He used to work at the honda dealership. he charged me 400.00 to paint it but i had to help out. which i didnt mind cause i wanted to learn and i think i did okay. As a matter a fact my 94 ej1 got painted today frost white baby!!! i wanted to watch but i had to work and well im still at work right now! sucks! Anyways Im thinking in your area a paint job is running about $1000 to $1400 thats just the paint and labor. Parts are seperate. hope that helps

yep close to what he said i would look at about 1500 for body work and to repaint the car the same color. So if u can stay under 2 grand with the light and stuff, and get a good paint job i would consider it a good day
