lsvtec? car starts to bog when i hits 5000 rpm
i had to change the tps I used the ls one! Car idles a lil choppy but runs fine untl it hits about 5g's then it shoulds like massive amounts of air is coming in and the rpms go up (slow)but the car dont move no faster(its not the clutch) when i got it in nuetral it will only rev up to about 6200 then it will float from 62-5800 rpm's
i set the tps to .45 volts wit the buterfly closed and the key on; on could it be that i need a b16 tps or what( i know it is the tps because thats what code is coming up on the cel light
thanks for any help,,,,and by the way i dont have the vtec hooked up and i still am running a stock ls ecu and n order for me to get the cams right i had to set the crank pulley to the third red mark away from the tdc mark!

Sounds like you have a few issues...
If your getting a TPS code,then something is wrong. Any B series TPS will work and D series too for that matter.You may just have a bad sensor or maybe some bad wiring.Check everything. .45v is correct with the throttle closed.
The bogging at 5k and the way you described setting the timing belt sounds wierd.The white notch on the pulley is TDC and the gears should also have marks for TDC.Make sure these are right or youll never run right and could possibly di some damage.

got the tps set right, it is one off of a ls and it is not throwing a code but it seems to behitting a rev limiter at 6000 rpm's. i will try to fix the timing belt agian and set it a tdc. But it seems to be runing right where it is up to 5000-5500 where it starts sucking massive amounts of air to its made up 6000 rpm rev limiter.
Do you think it could be i need a fuel pressure regulater?
