Every once in a while my check engine light will come on blinking. I check my ecu to see if its throwing any codes but its not. The car stll runs perfectly fine but I'm just wondering what could cause this. I have a B20 vtec running an obd0 pr3 ecu. Thanks, Julian.

 

It blinks or it goes solid?
do you stop the car and turn it off before checking for codes?

Maybe leave it running and check the ECU for codes.

I've had codes disappear from turning the car off.
Loose connections and junk.

 

My check engine light will blink at the cluster. I checked the ecu while the check engine light was blinking and the car was running and there was no codes. Anyone else know what could cause this?

Can anyone help me on this. It is now to the point where it blinks all the time but there is no codes and the car still runs fine. Its just annoying seeing the light blink. Any way of fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Julian.

 

maybe a stupid question...but it doesn't happen to be a OBD1 ecu now would it...?

Those blink the codes on the CEL.

 

Can anybody help me? I have no clue as to why it does this. OBD0 ecu.
