89 Si Hatch Stalls

have a 89 si hatch d16a6 that keeps stalling.

the car starts fine but as soon as you give it gas it stalls.

the car will idle forever but soon as you give it gas it stalls.

can anyone help?

is there anything done to the car? it sounds like a fuel problem. check the fuel filter, it maybe your pump. Is it throwing any codes?

no cels, i will check the filter and the pump

i think it more likely the filter then the pump

the car has not been started for over a year

the car has no mods at all a 80 year old man bought it new and keep it that way

any other ideas?
