ok well it was wet out one day and i had bald tires on and slid head-on into a curb and the left toe hook took all the abuse. so i went on and i never really noticed any problems. well its been pissing me off lately. its really pulling hard to the right and just doesnt feel safe to drive. so i took it to a shop and got an alignment done and still pulling hard to the right. well i got my uncle to come over and take a look, hes a old school muscle car guy and he said measure from wheel to wheel to see if there lined up right. so i took the tape measure with a friend and measured from the rear wheel to the front wheel and on boths sides ended up with different measurments.
the right side = 90.5
left side that took all the impact was= 89 7/8
so i slid into the curb at about 10 mph and bent the toe hook al the way back and smashed my rare stock fogs
anyway he said to adjust the crossmember and try to pull the wheel back up a half an inch. does that seem right or do u think i bent the actual frame of the car? i really dont wanna part with this car,its a mint rex with no rust. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i checked out the lower control arms and its looks pretty straight. the only thing i can think of is i pushed the crossmembe back a hlaf inch somehow. is that possible. i gotta get this fixed.

I doubt it - well, not without bending something.
I think you'll find that the crossmember isn't very adjustable.
I would go about it one of two different ways.
1) go to a good body shop and pay them to check your frame and tell you what's wrong.
2) Take a visit to the wrecking yard or the classifieds on here and get parts to replace the bendable parts like the LCA, radius rod, etc. and see if that fixes it. It will probably cost less this route than what it would cost to have a body shop check it first. the only thing is that it might not fix the problem and you might end up at the body shop anyway.

I have the exact problem with mine , I let a friend drive my car because I was too drunk, anyway he tried to take a very sharp turn he downshifted and flored it, next thing I know the car looses control the right front tire hits a curb hops and and heads for the trees, luckly we stoped before we hit the trees. SO my right front tire it lil bit further back than the front left side, I have to give it to a body shop to see what the **** happened, I got really upset and ****** pissed when that happened, I bet If I drove it that wouldnt of happened even if I were drunk

caster is off. adjust radius rods by shimming until theyre equal. but sounds like you bent something since its considerably different, cant really tell until you have a professional look at it and inspect everything. or you inspect everytihng yourself, but nothing we can do for you online. but those measurements are a measure of your caster.

well thanks for all the replies guys. anotehr question here. if the left siad is 89 and 7/8 and the right side is 90.5 dont u think the car would pull to the left? i let my dad take it out for a drive and while cruising it pulls a lil, but if u get on the gas it immediately pulls hard. im at the point where im about to get rid of it over a lil suspension issue. what sucks is the car is so clean and i wouldnt want to get rid of it over a lil pull to the right.
