need some suggestions
My performance mods are a J's CF intake, ported T/B, JDM replica header, hi-flow cat, and, very soon, a T1R catback exhaust. Once the exhaust is on I was looking at getting the car tuned. My thoughts were a Hondata s200 with a B&M FPR w/ gauge and some cam gears. Since I have no desire to do any internal mods, like cams, piston, etc. would I benefit from this set-up? Or should I look down another avenue. My car is a daily driver and it would be tuned by the guys I buy my parts off of. I searched and read up as much as i could but found that lots of people running the s200 are heavily modded or turbo'd. Which brings me to the question above. Just looking for some current suggestions of what direction I should go. Thanx in advance.
Those are pretty light mods and I dont think you need to run a system like Hondata, might be overkill. If you have the money, then go for it, but you would probably be fine with a VAFC and some cam gear tuning. You probably dont even need the FPR, your stock injectors should be able to produce enough fuel on stock pressure for that set up. FPR does offer a little more flexibility though. Hondata might be a better choice if you plan on further modding the car to have a little more tuning capabilities later down the road.
