I just bought a 2000 s2000 a couple weeks ago and I was wondering a couple things
205/50/16 in front about 80% tread
225/50/16 in rear about 20% tread
i was wondering anybody how has this kind of setup do you normal rotate tires in my position or buy new rears? I want to know if there is going to be any vibration in the front?
Also are the wheels in the rear the same width as the front?

The wheel sizes are different: 7.5's in the rear and 6.5's in the front. You cannot rotate them, well, you can, but the wheels will not properly fit on the hubs. But to set you up correctly, you need to buy two new tires. They need to be the proper size too: 245/45/16's for the rear, NOT 225/50/16's. The reason the prior owner put on the wrong tires for the S03's, is because the OEM S02's, which are speced out for Honda, specifically the S2000, are marked 225/50/16's, but they are closer to a 250 size, if such a tire existed.
Hope this clears up your questions.
after you've started modding it, such as suspension work, you can actually switch the rear and fronts from side to side to prevent inner tire wear and prolong the life of the tire. but that's a little further down the road

Yes and no. the S02 POLE POSITION tire was discontinued. It was a horrible horrible tire and had a different compound, different size, different tread and treadwear rating than the Honda OEM S02's. The S02 PP was replaced w/the S03 Pole Position. The OEM S02 is still available, but don't go to your dealer to get them, just call up Jim or Conner over at Tire Rack to get you setup with those or the right size for another tire.

Yes, but that's also another 40-80 bucks to swap out those tires in labor alone. While that might buy you a bit of time, the tires will be hard as a rock and it will be useless to do so. And while you are modding the suspension work, you should exercise the camber of the car a little more, or else, there was very little need in the first place to mod the suspension.
