1985 CRX Si; Sunroof. When I turn on the wiper motor, the fuse blows. Isolated the mate-n-lock from the wiper motor and still get blown fuse. I noticed that the sunroof also stopped working when that fuse is blown. The Main passes all of the tests.

Two weeks ago, the turn signals quit working. Pulled off a complete turn/wiper assembly from local salvage yard...from an 85 Civic. Installed onto CRX. Signals worked, wipers worked. Then, suddenly, no wipers and blowing fuses. Signals worked, though. So, took off new assembly and reinstalled old assembly. Now turn signals (as before) PLUS the wipers that used to work don't work, either. Still blowing fuses. At 55 years old, I'm losing patience, fellas...any ideas?

I'm at a loss...

 

you have a wire short somewhere.

look through all your wires for breaks/bare wire.
