My car won't start, ground problem. please help.
ok i know your going to tell me to search and i did. i have these grounds on the car now: neg. post to chassis to tranny, valve cover to frame. I know there is supposed to be a ground to the starter but i looked and i can't find one. where is the starter ground supposed to bolt to and coming from where??? please help i need to get to work in the next hour, i'm already late.
TIA
TIA
I believe that if you look at your starter you will see somewhere for a spade connector to plug into. The other end of that wire has a ring terminal that goes to the passenger side fuse box (in the engine bay) and connects to one of the two grounding locations. The ring terminal on the engine harness hooks up to the other grounding point in the fuse box.
