Teg was stolen from the dealer
Yep dropped off my baby, my 96 GSR at Superior Acura in Overland Park, right outside of Kansas City, to get some service done. Next thing i know they are calling me telling me they cant find my car. So life sucks right now, insurance company is checking out the laws in KC, since im from chicago. lawsuit will probably happen, so if any one sees a STOCK white 96 Gsr rolling around KC, shoot them.

if you got full coverage , dont trip.. you let your car in there hands.. the dealership is responsable for the car...they either give you a new car or pay you for yours...

damn sorry man. dats almost as bad as my friends bike getting stolen infront of him. *friend selling gsxr750, guy calls and asks to see it. they meet, guy asks to ride and never came back*
I feel your pain man... I had my 1994 Honda Civic EX stolen from my college parking lot when I was in class... came back to the lot and im like "where the hell is my car" the security guard got his truck broken into about 3 cars down from mine about the same time mine was stolen. It sucks because I go to school to better myself, doing everything by the book, and my car gets stolen by some punk kid who doesn't know History from Biology. O well, collected on insurance and got a 1995 Integra SE.

always ask for their driver's license to hang onto....before they get on your bike....if it's a car u get into the other passenger side seat and still hang onto their driver's or give it to your friend to hold onto. also when they bring a whole group of folks dont....be real careful. it could be a sign of trouble.

Sorry for the loss of your car man. But the dealership should be held responsible and you should get a nice compensation check from them.
It is acutally very common for cars to be stolen/stripped at the dealer. Nobody is there to watch em.
Whenever my car has to go to the dealership, I get there before it closes and have them put it inside the garage. They told me they always keep the Integra's inside at night for theft prevention.
Sorry to hear about your car and I hope you get a decent amount of $$ to replace it.

Same, why would they call you and tell you your car is gone. I think they would tell you to come down to the dealership and try to find it with them (Being that a car is so hard to loose, unless your stoned, tripping and drunk all at the same time.) And why wouldn't they call the police to file a report? Also why wouldn't they tell you to call your insurance company, maybe even let you know that their (dealers) insurance is taking care of it. But I guess the dealers will be dealers. I say **** the dealer and find a quality independent shop that actually cares about your car. Again I am very sorry and good luck with the whole insurance process. Remember never settle for the first offer the insurance company offers you!! My guess is they will try to offer you a integra LS automatic, leather, sunroof in exchange for a decent motor.
Hopefully the dealer didn't make you sign a work order or anything with the "fine print" on the bottom....you know, saying that they are not responsible for theft, vandalism, etc that happens to your car while its in their hands.
