Hey guys im new to this forum...i just bought a 98 prelude last week after selling my last show car. This lude has 65k on it and is in awesome condition. It has DC header, AEM cai, Greddy cat back, few other things. I checked the oil after about 600 miles and it was kinda low...at the low dot on the dip stick. I also noticed that my back bumper is covered in little dots of oil. I know this cant be good. It doesnt seem to smoke at all either. Is it my rings or something stupid. Any info is needed. thanks.

Ill try to do that monday...any other ideas in the mean time?

 

Check the cam seal, mine was leaking for a long time and I would fine oil marks on my bumper also. I saw the oil was collecting on the tranny case and i was betting when i was accelerating the oil was flying off and getting stuck on the back bumper.

 

what kind of oil are you using?

how much are you in vtec?
