Any one knows how to Come out of "Safe" Mode - Honda Navigation System

Cus of entering wrong code in first place, the Navigation system gone in "Safe" mode...and screen is locked now....it start asking on screen “please enter security code” with SAFE written all the time and it doesn’t even allow me to enter anything.

I've tried reseting it by unplugging the battery for over minute...but all in vain..please help!!! if some one knows how to come out of SAFE mode and enter correct code.

There must be a way to Soft Boot the system? or any combination of keys to allow you to enter code again...

Please anyone reply sooooooooooooooooon.........

 

If I were you I would call the dealership with my radio code or VIN number of serial code to the NAV if you can find it and they will give you the code you need.

 

Some of the units have the Security Code on the Unit it self or in the inside of the gove box

Latest situations is: I've managed to get rid of Safe Mod. solution is..if you keep the ingnition key on for 1 hr 15 mins Sat Nav comes out of Safety MODe and start asking you Security number with cursor placed...

I tried Radio code but that wont work as it only requires 4 digit code but Radio Code is 5 digits. So no success so far.

Have spokeb to Dealer again, They cant find anything in their system about NAV Code. The only thing they have recorded in system was Radio code...shame thats not useful for Sat NAv. Its really strange....

Honda did set Sat Nav CODE. They handed Sat Nav pasport to first owner but he lost it. By the way car had Navigation working perfectly when i bought it so i never realised its gona ask for CODE in future if battery goes ..shame .....

I've tried all these numbers

- Blank
- 0
- 0000
- 9999
- 1234
- first four digits for radio code...

I can go to dealers menu but nothing allow me to take off security code...
I'm still waiting for Dealer's feedback on that from manufacturer..........maybe someone can suggest me something else?
