links for h22 swap into CRX?
Is there any online info for swapping a h22 into a CRX ED9? Please post any links you know of please ...
Also is there anyone who has done this swap and can give me a rough list of parts needed just so i can get an idea on pricing and how long parts will take to source.
Your help is very much appreciated
Thanks
Nick

We've done two of them already, but we fabricate everything, makes cost cheaper. The only thing we really had to pay for was the motor, everything else was made. We could do the swap in weekend now. We are not afraid of torching and welding.!!
so im guessing i need
B16/B18 gearbox?
H22 engine with alternator, dissy, starter motor
axles? but not sure which ones
uprated suspension? any recommendations?

Well you can got 2 routes. Go stock H22 with tranny or all (60 pounds heavier then a GSR) or you can go a H22 with a B series tranny. Which is about 8 pounds heavier then a complete GSR. I have just CRX lowering srpings in my car and it rides fine with the H22 in there.

yeah i heard you need a custom adaptor plate, will i need a custom built cross member for dropping in h22?
AllMotorCRX161 - Did you use shocks and springs? I just have stiffer (APEX)springs (40mm drop) but stock shocks.
Thanks in advance

you'll need a custom cross-member which isn't bad because you would have needed a better one anyway. I've paid alot of attention to the EF suspension and the radius rods (especially the bushings) just doesn't cut it when your making power.
