94-01 teg center console in an EF?

my buddy has this done to his car and it lines up almost perfect in the front....I was just curious if anybody else has done this because I have never seen it done before until I sat in his car

I was just curious....I have a Del Sol so I would have no use for this modification.

It just struck my interest when I saw it in his car and it looked extremely clean, almost as if it was meant to be there. Too bad there aren't any nifty swaps like that for a Del Sol
