constant smoke out of the exhaust while car is idling and moving especially after shifting
okay check this out,
i just bought a 92 4dr integra (b18a1 motor). it has a t3 turbo and the zex nitrous system. when i bought it i noticed he didnt have a turbo filter. is it normal for oil to form where the filter goes? also, when driving, everytimei shift a crap load of smoke comes out the back. he told me the only thing wrong with the car is the piston & rings. is that true? i understand if i rebuile the motor i gotta get all the gaskets and stuff but, could anything else be wrong? lets see, oh yeah when i run the car the lean/rich gauge goes back and forth everytime i press the gas...is that suppose to do that? and lastly, i read the forum bout stroked engines, being that i use that car daily....what size pistons should i get, stoke or bigger? oh yeah im stationed in germany so keep in mind i really do need the power....any suggestions... hook me up?

Sorry bro, but pistons/rings being the only thing wrong is actually a HUGE thing. It means that your compression is most likely very poor and you're burning mass amounts of oil...hence the smoke. Replacing the rings is not an easy task, nor is it cheap. If you have the $$, now is a great time to do a build up on your motor (which I'm not going to get into now). Good luck
Just stop driving that thing before that motor POPS...... It sounds like a nice project car and all but not for daily use until you get those problems fixed and oil should never build up around where the filter goes on the turbo. Get rings and pistons done. For low end part running turbo you have to run FORGED pistons and rings and also stronger sleeves than stock ones otherwise they'll just crack. Which on that car they probably did. You will also need to rebuild that turbo too since its leaking oil. Have fun body. And thats just basics stuff. There's more you should due to your car in order to run a nice turbo setup. that will come later though.........
