Default Smogging Crx's!!!!

Hello everyone, I just recently bought a 1990 Honda CRX DX model. What would cause a 1990 CRX to be considered a Gross Polluter? I've been told that if you change the Cat, it will pass smog. But then I also heard that it could be a number of things. So my question to you all is, what would cause a 90' CRX to be considered a Gross Polluter when being smogged? Please list all your idea's or what I should do.

Thank You

Qckrun

I'd call up a local dealership and ask them. Other than that find a reputable Honda shop and ask them.

It depends on alot of things. Especially the particular pollutant in which it was a gross polluter.
