big cam question please help!!!!

Default big cam question please help!!!!

i just installed s2s2 cams,retainers,springs, and gears. right before i hit vtec its like my car hits a wall and then the vtec kits in. i have the dc sorts 4-1 header with a 2.25 collector or could it be the lack of a hight flow cat, please help

have u adjusted the vtec crosser and fuel maps to accompany the new cams????

whats your compression ratio? You may not have enough compression to run these cams, as they are fairly big....

hopefully you didn't put those cams in a stock motor. They are made for higher compression. If you have sufficient compression than most likely you just need some fuel tuning and u need to change your vtec crossover.

this happened in my car when i had some crower cams...u just need to change the vtec crossover and get a chipped ecu ...solved my problem

i am going to go to a obd1 computer that is chipped for the cams, and i just ordered a header with a 2.5'' collector and a test pipe, i also need to get my compression up to around 12.5.1 and then hopefully i will be good to go, thanks for all your guys help

11.5:1-12:1 should be find compression wise. I wouldn't go as high as 12.5:1 with the stage 2's. I'd also get hondata because you will need a lot of tuning.
