Default Engines and more engines...

I am plannin on getting a 92-95 hatch or a 91 CRX, I was wonderin which engine to swap for a daily driven car that will keep up with my need for speed. I heard an Ls/Vtec is good, but then again you have to fix up the internals, is this true???

if u get a crx...go with a b16
if u get a hb... go with any b series your wallet can pay for.
ls vtec...isnt all that reliable as sum people might say. it all depends on who builds it. and yes, you will have to use diff internals.
