how much did u spend on ur 180k service
i have a 91 legend. i have got a quote of 1000 dollars to replace my timing belt and water pump. would like to know what others have paid. is $1000 too high. have other people changed the timing belt and water pump on their cars. pls comment.
there is a diy for the tb/wp on http://www.acura-legend.com.
however, if you arent too mechanically inclined, pay the money to get it done correctly. those are things that you shouldnt skim money on.
$1000 does seem a little steep to me. where was the quote from? always expect inflated prices from the dealer. your best bet would be to find an independent shop that specializes in acura.

the quote was from a shop specialising in acura. its a good shop . what would be the average price for this service like is 1000 dollards 10-20% more of the average. if yeah then i would like to get it done with them ,if the average is like 600 bucks then it makes sense to look around .
