can someone post a pic of 98-01 type R wing a NOSE MASK?
As long as we're on this topic, has any of you had problems with the TypeR sticker peeling off the nose mask ?? Mine is barely 6 months old and it is halfway peeled off. I am taking the mask to the dealer to have it replaced but I wonder if this is just me.

Yes.
My old mask, which use to belong to DarthVader, had problems with the Type R badge peeling off too.
Makes me wonder why they didn't sew it on...

I was thinking of getting the mask for my car. I have a GSR but with an ITR lip so nothing else would fit. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that I would have to go around with a big Type R badge on the front of my car, but since all of you are saying that it can come off then I guess I will get it. I always thought it was stitched on.
BTW, how easy or difficult is it to install. I'm planning on using it only when I know I will be doing highway driving so it's important that it be easy to put on and take off.

Put a CF hood on a yellow one and the bra wouldn't look to bad. Btw, gun metal rims look like crap on black cars. Yellow is the perfect color for gun metal wheels. It makes a nice contrast. The stock rims need to be darker to look good on a black R.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 97 ITR and 98ITR Front end. I want to buy a 97ITR nose mask but I have a 98 ITR.
Guns look fantastic on black cars...black wheels rock on yellow/white cars...and the bra goes very well with the black car:

I bought both my mask and cover at the Acura dealer. I can't remember what I paid for either, but I got a nice discount.
I consider my TE-37s bronze too, since they are. I would have gotten them in gunmetal, but wanted bronze, since variety is the spice of life (and they were cheaper & faster that way)...having seen gunmetal TE-37s, i'm glad i got bronze, the finish has texture to it, the gunmetals are just painted it seems, didn't feel as high quality. Regardless, i love the car on it's stock gunmetal rims, and think it will look wicked on the gunmetal slipstreams when they arrive. Gunmetal is a great color for wheels on pretty much any car, i don't think i'll ever own silver wheels agian..BORING
Back to nose masks, my Type R patch was coming off too, some elmers glue oddly enough seemed to do the trick pretty well. Rubber cement might be an even better fix.
