Painted mirrors, pics.
Thanks guys. Man i'm so lazy to do a write up. Yeah i know the leopard seat cover is masculinity at it finest. At least it keeps the thieves away. Well here's a little overview, maybe a write up later.
1. remove mirror, mask base part if desired and mirror of course.
2. use a scotch brite pad to score the whole surface of the mirror.
3. use wax/dirt remover, if it says cancer causing on the label you got the right stuff. Wipe with solution.
4. spray with flexible surface primer. multiple light coats for best results.
5. I didn't sand, but wetsanding with like 400 grit would produce top notch results.
6. apply 2-3 light coats of aerosol paint. (i used dupli color). wait about an hour.
7. apply 2-3 coats of clear. I think i could use about 2 more coats, mine is more satin than gloss right now.
