Dream H22..what would you do?
If you had the money and time and a bone stock H22 on a stand in your garage with all the tools you need to do everything you wanted. How would you build an H22 with a target of 300-400 Hp to the wheels? Prefer to stick with the same company too (i.e. all skunk products or crower, or close as possible)

and nitrous, making 300 WHP, daily driven, redline 9000 rpm. or somehow swap a 00-03 S2000 engine and keep the prelude FWD. Too bad its only a dream.

I think he may be talking on how from the factory hondas were meant to be n/a even though they make wicked numbers turbo'd.

What's so ****** hard to understand?? You are confused by one sentence. lol
In my opinion, Honda engines are meant to be nice NA motors. Still don't understand??

That's also t-total bullshit. I have a friend driving a 290 whp B16 Civic every day with ZERO problems.

You want to be a dick about it? I can be a dick too.
Honda's main problem is compression and ring landings. Take care of that, beef up the valve train, and there's no reason you can't run 10psi on a turbo motor. They were designed to be N/A... so were LS1's, and if you tell me they suck-*** with blowers on them, then you're more retarded than I thought.
I can't believe I'm having to have this argument.
Don't be ignorant.

yea 300 whp on pump gas is no problem watso ever. I think N/a though its more of a challange. For a turbo'd stock motor to pump that out all it takes is a nice kit with tuning done by one who knows his **** to keep ya safe so you dont blow your motor. 230-250whp is alot harder producing n/a. Could be done as a street car, and im sure is right now but just the people who make these numbers dont talk about it. Minus 2point6 haha.
Well with a target of 3-400 whp, FI's your only realistic option, unless you settle for using a crap-ton of nitrous. If you think you're gonna make that much power on an H22 all-motor and keep any semblance of streetability or reliability . . . . sorry.
As for my dream (turbo) engine - Golden Eagle sleeves out to 89mm, 9.5:1 pistons, rods, headwork to deshroud to the new bore & open up the ports for the new flow requirements. Rebalanced crankshaft. Crower turbo cams/valvesprings, hardened rocker arms, and a Golden Eagle IM. Probably a 72mm throttle body tapering to the IM inlet. Hon/Uberdata & some fatty-*** injectors & solid fuel pump. Water/air intercooler, 3" piping all the way around. Quaife, upgraded axles, poly suspension bushings & mm inserts. Oil catch can, balance shafts eliminated, manual tb tensioner, remote oil reservoir.
Dunno about turbine/compressor sizing, have to do some research in that department - but dual ball-bearing for sure.

How the hell did this turn into a FI vs. NA arguement, and to say the F1 is not an option for a honda---man where's the **** you're smokin

Who knows but it must be pretty awesome and make you halucinate. Otherwise I don't know why he would say that.

My dream h22 setup would be NA, also with pneumatic valves, destroked crank to 85 mm, ITBs, 13:1 compression with micropore piston rings, DLC coatings and thermal coatings in there respective places, Black metal bearings, titanium rods w/ titanium wrist pin(with DLC coating) Clover-leaf pentroof combustion chamber, forged pistons matching the combustion chamber roof i think thats about it... oh yes, and also a very large FD
Its so funny that by now people still think this way. Trust me you could run a stokc h22 into the 400ish whp range with stock everything with a nice sized turbo. It just takes alot of dyno time by a experience tuner and on race gas. Mind you though im not talking about crusing the streets with this kind of power. Just for your times at the track. But 300whp is def. possible. Just 300 even. Not like 350 or anything like that. Thats how i see it anyways.
