crx b16 b18c5 swap question?

Default crx b16 b18c5 swap question?

i have a b16 in my crx and i want to put a b18c5 in it what do i need to put it in ?

That's the route i took. All you really need is either a short or longblock B18C5 and its worth doing an obd1 conversion with a hondata s100 or 200. You can reuse the tranny you have now, or search like i did and locate a jdm ys1 lsd tranny to go along with the pkg. There will be some small wiring changes being that some sensors are in different spots, but if you trace them one by one, its pretty easy.

Get a GSR shortblock and use your pr3 head. Figure $2-3k for a block build and $2k for the head. I bet some can build this motor cheaper. These prices included brand new everything w/assembly. I told the guy at the machine shop i wanted to make 230 whp with an all motor setup. These are the quotes i've gotten so far. Convert your b16 into a b18c5

Anyone built a 2.0L poorman's r?

I got the most poor ITR ever, got a complete B18C5 shortblock for $50 and a complete 98 GSR P72 head for $200 in Canadian dollars.

or better yet get a b20 short block and add your pr3 head.
