Would DC Headers for a B16a fit a B18b LS motor?
They might <---- thats a 75% sure answer thinking on the "all b series part is interchangeable rule" But then i think thats different with VTEC and non VTEC (thats why its 75.
it has been known that b16 header will fit b18, i've personally havent seen it, however i was reading a thread the other day and a guy had it on his b series. he said that it was a tight fit but it worked....
Yes, all B-Series headers' are interchangable. The only thing i would doubt is A/C clearance issues on some headers' and the header B-Series engine from the old Prelude (Not sure which gen. from the top of my head) also the header from 1st gen CRV's if i am correct.

On my DC 4-1(ceramic) there was no clearance, however on my ITR 4-1 w/ 2.5" collector(SS) I had to modify the oilpan to make it fit so the oilpan wasnt touching the header!

The LS block is taller??? Well damn ya learn something new every day.

The heigt difference betweeb b16a and b18 is about 8.8 mm. I have a friend who swapped out his b16a and swapped in a b18c type R and kept his dc sports 4-2-1 one piece header. Now the header is touching the oil pan.

So... before the swap, dude's header only cleared the oilpan by less than 7 mm? If it touches the oilpan now... maybe you should torque the oilpan bolts more.
I've used any size header you can possibly come up with, b16, ls, gsr... etc. etc. and guess how many of them didn't fit my LS/VTEC swap?
None.

When I blew my B16 and replaced it with a B18b, I transfered my DC 4-1 header over with no problem at all and no clearance issues! However when I got a JDM 98 ITR Exhaust manifold with 2.5" collector it rubbed the bottom of the oilpan, so I torched my oilpan and bent it in a lil on the coner to make it fit w/o touching the oil pan! I know this sounds ghetto but how else was I supposed to fit it on properly!

You just measured the deck height... That is not the height of the entire block. Deck height == distance from deck of the block to the center of the main journals. NOT the bottom of the oilpan.
... But even if it were 8.8mm That still means that homie's header had 1/4" clearance on the old one!?!? There was something wrong to begin with. I've never seen a header come 1/4" to the oilpan on a b16 when it was MADE to fit.

Hee aut0tek chill.
I just give an example so it proves that b16 headers not always fit b18.
And it is not onle the difference in block height. Oil pan are different too. You can't fit a b16 oil pan onto a b18 engine. So there are diffence too that can make the b16 header to touch the oil pan.
And by the way i am not talking any header. This is for the dc sports 4-2-1 one piece header. I can't speak for other headers.
