Most M-rated helmets cannot be used at SCCA, NASA, or most organizations. SA rating (specifically SA-95(soon to be illegal) or SA-00 is necessary)

its specifically legal for SCCA solo2, and most HPDE on the best coast, including NASA.

Is there any verification that SA-95s will be declared illegal in 2005? I know they usually only allow helmets with the last 10 years spec to be used, but I had also heard that there have not been any major advances in that time, so SA-95 will remain legal for a few more years to come....
