ZC motor in 89 EF (CRX) what do i need?

Default ZC motor in 89 EF (CRX DX) what do i need?

hey i just bout a 89crx the other day....and i have a ZC on the way. this is a DX. has anyone on here done this swap? im looking for a list of parts ill need...and if there is anythign tricky i may run into. i have heard i will need to do some rewiring, but im not sure what needs to be done.

i just finished putting a B18B in my 95 widebody coupe....that was cake. i hope its as easy.

if it's an si, use this for instructions on how to wire it. i used them and it worked flawlessly. it was cake. just gotta use a soldering iron and use one of the plugs off your old distributor, and the plugs from the new distributor. i recommend at least the teg ecu, it's a big difference over stock.

if you have an hf you need si or dx hubs and axles. i recommend upgrading the clutch while it's out. if you use your 88 tranny, get an 88 crx clutch, if you use 89-91 tranny, get a 89-91 clutch. you can use a crx si header, just take the exhaust gasket, match it up to the header ports, and using a die grinder port out the header to match the gasket, just down grind through the welds.

it's really easy, total one day project if you have everything ready before hand. you have to replace the upper radiator hose as well, but that can be found on many zc how to websites. zccrx.com is a good one.
