Default 1987 Honda Accord LX-i Post Part 2

I have been told by many sources that rebuilding the tranny myself maybe extremely difficult because they say the tranny is a Complex, Fragile network of Discs. I know it is complex by just looking at the inside of the tranny but why is it Fragile? If anyone knows, thanks

You might be better off just getting a used transmission. I see these cars all day long at Pick-And-Pull.
