Default Anyone running 1mm oversized valves with cams that have at least 12.4mm of lift (H22)???

Im getting mixed reviews on this topic... Some say go for it, some say it wont work...

Im just curious if anyone out there has run 1mm oversized valves with cams that have anywhere from 12.3 - 12.8mm lift (H22 specific)??

If so, were there any major valve to valve clearance issues?

I would say it depends on what pistons you are running...some aftermarket pistons have much larger valve reliefs

yeah, I know you can run 1mm oversized valves with stock cams... I was just curious if anyone had any experience running them with an aftermarket cam, something with some decent lift (12.3'ish)

The issue in question is valve to valve clearance...

So you chose to run oversize valves instead of bigger cams?!

Look in TBone's All-Motor build thread, he ran into problems with v-v clearance on Jun4's or something insane. But I don't know the lift specs, or if his valves were oversized (I'm guessing they were since every inch of that motor was built hard-core).
