Default exedy racing clutch stiff on b16

i put in an exedy racing clutch in my rex with a b16a1 that i bought from clutchcityonline.com for $230 (disc, PP, throwout and pilot bearing). it does grip good but it is very stiff, so stiff that i actually have lower back pain and my left knee hurts? i thought that everyone liked this clutch and that it was supposed to feel like stock? what is my problem?

i've had two other people feel it and they both say it is way too hard. is this just how they are? if this is how they are supposed to be i would think they would suck *** for racing.

I guess what im getting at is...is this how the clutch is supposed to be or is mine messed up? if it is supposed to be like that then why would you want it so stiff?

your clutch cable might be messed up. pulling at a wrong angle, or its just old

Oh yeah, the additional clamp force comes at a price. I had the same effect on my car. You might as well get used to it because it doesn't get any better with time
