hey guys, im seriously looking into buying this 89 hatch with a d16y7 with 40k on the motor. theres only a few things wrong with it, the body is straight, the interior is gutted, its red, and it has si wheels but now comes my question.

The window slides down a half inch after so long and this is due to the window regulator. I am wondering how much and how hard is this going to be for me the novice wannabe honda addict?

Im concidering buying thoes plasitic rain guard type things to put over the window so that even when it slides down the rain wont get it. But I would like to fix the problem and just get it done.

since the interior is gutted you should be able to fix that really easy w/ another regulator or just fixing the current one.

 

sorry, the door pannles are still there meaning, no carpet, no rear seat, no headliner, no plastic peices from the front seats back. guess its not really 'gutted'. So how hard would it be to replace? I have found some regulators for under 10 dollars, I figure that has to be a farily good deal.

Its pretty easy to replace.. Just get a new regulator and put it in.. It goes in and out of the big hole on the bottom left side of the door..
