im doing dpfi to mpfi i ran the c1 and c2 wires back to the dizzy there not connected to anything at the moment but i cant figure out what goes where i have it all color coded now but it wont start. anyone got a graph i searched but the colors on everyone elses dx harness are diffrent. ill make a drawing if u want...

anyone know where this hose goes? the only one i cant find a home for.



dx harness=
2 solid white's
blue / yellow c2 (i wiredto ecu)
blue / green c1 (i wired to ecu)
1 solid orange
1 blue / orange
1 blue / white



si dizzy=
1 blue / green assuming its the c1
1 blue / yellow also assumings its the c2
1 blue / white
1 blue / orange
1 solid orange
2 solid whites


i dont have the plugs for the si dizzy or anything so i gota hardwire it.

If you don't have those two wires connected,
It will not start in the MPFI configuration because
that is the cylinder position sensor.. It needs to have that hooked up
to sequentially fire the four injectors..

You are using an Si or HF distributor right?

thanks dude but i can barly see what wires are witch on the si sizzy cant u just say what goes to what in text format? what do i do with the left over white wire from the harness?

As long as the colors match up it doesnt matter how you wire it up to the harness plugs. For the 2 white wires, just take a guess. If it runs like crap, swap them around.

dude i have no tans its whites and oranges thats it. not tan.

 

my igniter was bad and there was all kinds of **** int he distro. it runs but idles like *** due to the intake manifold gasket
its all broken so i ordered 1

and they call them orange also.
