Wheel experts...question about offset on ITR
I need a set of autox wheels and I was looking at some 15x8's with 32mm offset. Now, I know these will stick out past the fender, which is ok becausethat's the fast way anyhow
I will be running springrates high enough so that I won't have to worry about rubbing. Tires will be 225/50/15 Hoosiers.
However, what's the backspacing on a 15x8 at 32mm? I want to make sure they aren't too close to an control arm or something.
Thanks.

that's a tough one. try IM 2fknfst - he runs 8" rims on his R with 3mm spacers I think. Not sure about the offset though.
BTW, why do you even need 15x8" rims? 15x7" not good enough? Surely, you can't squeeze 245's in there...
I'd rather stretch a tire over a 8" wide rim than have a bulge on a 7" rim. More precise handling and a wider contact patch with the 8"
16" wheel/tire is waaay to big. Heck, even a 15" is a little large for a FWD autox car.
