gsr with a fifth seat?
Just wondering if any gsr's come with five seats(im guessing they dont, but ill ask anyway) or if you can get another rear bench from a different car and put it in. I dont want to do it if its going to be ghetto though. thanks in advance, this is a great forum
gsr=2 SEATER. Back seat is worthless thats why its in my closet. 2 Seats means your never the designated driver. Especially if you talked you buddy into a brand new SUV

The Integra coupe has that plastic piece in the rear seat for a reason. If it were an actual seat, they would have been required to add a belt for that middle position, which would have made the seats alot more complicated, even with just a lap belt for the middle. Nowadays ALL seating positions are required to have 3-point belts. Ever seen the seatbacks of RSX's and EP3 hatchback rear seats? They're really thick and heavy because Honda had to put a retracing belt mechanism in there, along w/ the locking function if G-forces rise above normal. I guess they wanted to keep it simple on the G3 Integras and keep all that stuff out of the actual seats, so they had to put that plastic piece there in the middle so that it could be designated as a 4-passenger vehicle w/ the EPA.

I remember in my uncles GSR he use to cram like 5-6 nephews and nieces back there. Wasn't exactly comfortable or safe, and the car would move like a tortoise, but for some reason his car came with a cushion for the middle. Did anyone elses GSR come with a cushion for the middle console?
Do all 3rd gens have only 2 seat belts in the back? My 2nd gen has 3 seat belts and no plastic thingy in the middle. I've fit 5 people in my car a bunch of times. Then again I've noticed that the 2nd gens do have more room in the back seat, especially when it comes to headroom.

Correct. Except the JDM ITR. It has a suede pad there similar to that of the 4 dr GSRs.
My friend has full JDM interior including the recaro seats. Those backseats are hella nice.

I wasnt aware that the environmental protection agency was concerned with vehicle safety.
