you need to resleeve because of the FRM cyl. lining

Would there be a difference to have a jdm block or a usd h22 block, the shop that is doing is says once everything gets pulled out jdm or not the block still wouldn't matter?
There is no difference from the JDM and USDM blocks as far as the cyl. linings. If you run forged pistons you MUST sleeve your block.
Yea FRM and Forged Pistons dont work. Well theres theories but you seem not worthy to hear them. So just sleeve your block before you **** yourself in the *** and say damn i should of listened to that bolivian guy.

Which block is stronger for the NA application and longevity? JDM or USDM? So if I sleeve the block do I have to bore it out as well? Someone told me that if I don't bore out the block and just sleeve then my motor will go out in a few months?

Sleeving is replacing your existing sleeves to iron. Ours right now is FRM and that does not work with forged pistons. Boring only should be done if theres damage done. and for an N/a Setup i would say a USDM 97-01 bottom end is better becuase its open deck. But then again if im not mistaken the 97-01 JDM motors are also open deck?

they are the same as stated before.
you're gonna have to put some oem pistons in there unless you sleeve it.
if you have someone sleeve it for you like golden eagle or darton then
all you'll have to do is slap the forged pistons in.
you should study up on sleeving your motor
give Earl or Goldeneaglemfg a pm, they can lead you in the right direction
and even build up the whole block for you.
