Hello all,
I recently acquired a 4 door AT 1989 Accord and so far I am loving. I used to drive nothing but bmw's and I have to say that I dont miss them at all with this Accord....gotta love those flip up headlights!
So here is my question, the car has over 200k miles but is still going strong...turns over and idles smooth...naturally there is limited history on the maintenance..so I am wondering what problematic issues might arise. Anyone have experience on what goes wrong first with these old beauties? The front brake discs where warped so I replaced them, and a new set of tires has it rolling smooth...im just wondering what I should tear into first.
Also the steering wheel rubber is coming of the steering wheel frame....anyone know how hard it is to replace the wheel with an aftermarket wheel? Its rather bothersome...
Thanks in advance for any help!

My first car was the 89 accord and I loved it!!!
Mine had about that same mileage and I never had a single problem till the day I sold it. As far as the steering wheel goes, you'd be better off replacing it with stock.
