Default 7 day ALL MOTOR monster build-up!!! pics inside!!! GSR integra DC2

This topic is about a street car that we at V2 motorsports put together in 7 days before the event of Battle of the Imports Aug. 7, 2004. We just wanted to give some credit to where it is due for some H-T members and thank them for all their help and time spent with this project. We would like to start off by thanking the guys a RAGE performance (Jason, James and the staff members) for the late dyno and helping with the tranny seal, sorry Jason hehehe. Indo Jeff for all the support. The guys at Automotive Alliance for always hooking us up with body parts. Max and Steve for the really good suspension. Last but not least the staff members at V2 motorsports for putting in some very long hours to get this car done. We are sure we are probably missing a few other H-T members that we have not mentioned.

Our main focus was to have this street car compete in the STREET STOCK class and fellow all the rules that are involved in that class. As for the results of the event of Battle of the Imports we ran 12.5@ 104 mph. With the car coming out for the first time we are working on getting the suspension dialed in for the track for better time slips.

Here are the dyno results and specs to vehicle.
218 hp 155 torque
GSR b18c block 85mm
CP 12:5 shelf pistons
Eagle rods LS shelf rods (stock length)
89mm stock crank LS
JG port and polish head GSR
Skunk2 intake manifold w/68mm TB
Jun 3. cams
VAFC vtec controller
440 RC injectors
P28 chipped
JG pro-flow race header

1996 GSR integra
omni-power race suspension
22x8 bogarts w/ skinnes for the rear
carbon fiber hood
everything else is pretty much stock, given that we took out all the unescessary parts ( p/s, AC, heater core etc.)
weight is unknown, but 12.5 in a integra (think about this motor in a CRX at least 700lbs lighter.)

Thanks for the all the comments guys We are currently working on another street car 1991 crx, getting it ready for 0ct. event. ALL MOTOR street performance class. Hoping to bring 3 street cars to that event. As for the Q's for the DC2, yes it is a full body and it is not running a muffler (open header). I think the air horn looks funny also. The reason why we ran the p28 w/vtec controller, is because we are thinking of going with a DFI, that my homie gave to me later on down the line, but for now we are happy with the p28 and vafc. B19coupe I finally got the pistons for the other motor, I will let you know how everything turns out.

Wow, those are impressive times for that setup. What kind of headwork did you get done? What other weight removal items did you take off?

For the person who mentioned hondata, how much HP do you think he could gain being properly tuned?

We are reving this motor up to 9,000 rpm with no problems, the car weight is unknown but nothing cut out at all with the sunroof and windows still working.

We are are happy with what the motor put out at this point, ITB's will probably not be a option. We plan on running the ITB's on another motor, but we will see how itb's perform on the dyno with the other motor.
