Just ordered the Boost and water temp. gauges in BF series. Marty is the man Super fast shipping.

 

Do the EGT gauges come with a probe kit?

And can the a/f gauge be used on a stock o2 sensor for the time being.....I am assuming the needle will be dancing all over, didnt know if that would be a problem for the gauge. Thanks

Yes, it comes with the probe.

The a/f is fine to use with stock 02

Is one style better than the other, or do they all do different things?

 

The Defi-Link and Defi-Link BF gauge are the same by functionality, the diference is that the Defi-Link BF series afe more fancy. Whit these gauge you also need a control unit, that the gauges will play. Control unit is better because it reccorded the last 3 minutes of your driving and then you can wach a replay...

The D-gauge are individual mounted in your car and you dont need a control unit.

How's the visibility of the BF gauages in the day time? So for the control unit, all the wires and vacuum tubing goes to the control unit, then just one wire from there to the gauges? Where do most people mount the control unit?

 

And does Defi (or anyone else) make a sort of gauge pod/holder that would allow the gauge to attach to a pole? Like the part of a roll cage running down the A-pillar.

 

I dont think that visibility will be the problem, because you can adjust the brightnes of the gauge. The delfi dosnt make that kind of gauge holder, that you are looking, but you can buy one from the other shop. Just be cearful wit the gauge diameter.

I'm interested in the link display.For this what all else is needed to make it work. I saw that the control unit is needed, but will I have to purchase anything else to make the link display read all its functions like the Oil temp. press./ egt temp./water temp/ and so on? thx

 

You will also need the sensors for it to work.
