Default Did OHM meter test on my ignition coil - replace coil???

This is what the numbers are supposed to be with an OHM meter for my b16a:

Primary winding resistance
0.6-0.8 ohms

Secondary winding resistance
12.8K- 19.2K ohms

First i got .6 ohms for the Primary resistance and then i tighten the connector coming from the square loop wire which seemed alittle loose. So now its .9 ohms or and sometimes no reading.

I got 16.7K for the secondary resistance which was probing the spring of the coil and the circular loop wire.

Do you think i should replace the coil? My motor has been breaking up in 4th gear in vtec for months now. I used to have an MSD 6a ignition last year which might have weaked the coil.

Most ppl have starting problems when the secondary resistance is low, but my primary resistance is a bit high. im having some kind of ignition firing problems only at the top of 4th gear.

thanks for any info.

my car stutters alittle going into vtec then it engages and also breaks up in 4th gear.

Could my vtec solenoid need cleaning?
or vtec pressure sensor going bad?

thanks
