you ment 4-1 and 4-2-1 the 4-2-1 is easier to install has more ground clearance and gives more mid range power but also gives high rpm power. The 4-1 is the opposite and gives more high rpm power and also gives noticable low rpm TQ loss. I also would get stainless over ceramic if you can afford it! also some of the cheaper brand headers have shown decient improvements on some dynos like airmass and hp racing but I would go with comptech because acura will not give you hell about having their parts on your car!
(FYI, I have DC sports 4-1 ceramic)

i would also agree with getting stainless steel if you have the money. I hear ceramics cracking over a couple years. I have a DC 4-2-1 ceramic header in my LS. I think my header is pretty ok. it also depends where u want your power, like the high end or low-mid range.
i would love to see some Dyno results from same brand or similar brand headers comparing results of 4-2-1 vs. 4-1. If anyone can find um or knows where they are that would be great to see.
Absolutely get Stainless...for your car I would recommend the Greddy Stainless header. And no, if you get an SC, you do not need to replace the exhaust manifold, so any header you have will work. If you plan on going with an SC soon, you may want to look into a Kamikaze header, or a 4-1 of some sort.
Drop me a line if you need any more info or pricing, as we carry DC, Greddy, Kami, etc.

If you're thinking about forced induction save the money on headers and supercharger and go get yourself a turbo exhaust manifold (with the turbo of course).
Why pay $2500 for SC and get 160 hp when you can pay $3000 and get 200 hp (and have room to improve things!)

this SHO link compares several different headers on SC cars. Its very helpful if you choose to go that route.

Id just get the JDM 4-1 with heatshield. That way you wont have any problems with cops and **** like that since it looks stock. Also, dont run a testpipe, no matter what anyone says they are BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. Just get a decent hi flo cat(carsound, random tech).
