another turbo
T3/T4 54 trim compressor with .48AR exhaust and a stage III wheel GARRETT this is a turbo someone is selling as a complete kit every thing i need he says it was working perfectly when he took it off the car to sell the prelude he kept it at 7 psi but has anyone heard anything about this turbo i want to have it around 10-12 psi could i do this with this turbo anyone heard anything bad about this turbo thanks for your post also what is a good price for the kit.
What year/model prelude do you have? I would talk to Precisionh23 about turbos.... he seems to know everything lol.
I know pretty much nothing about turbocharging a vehicle.. but a complete turbo setup usually runs about 2-3 grand, depending on model/size what's included in the kit etc etc.
Start using SENTENCES/PARAGRAPHS if you want people to actually read your threads.

You do realize you can't just throw on a turbo, run 12psi and call it quits right. The mileage/condition of your motor is a big thing too. You might want to consider new internals with a motor that old, or just a whole new motor swap.
No but i would be getting a new h23 head. From a company that will rebuild your head for 1,600 dollars and send you a new head that has performance cams, valves pretty much all a h22 has but its not going to be vtec.
I also would be getting whatever else i needed to handle the boost level i wanted aem fuel rail, fuel injectors stuff like that.

to run that boost safely (12psi) you're going to need to build your bottom end a little, at least sleeve it...
but before you even do that or anything to your head - i would suggest getting compression and leak-down tests done...the condition of your motor will have a lot to do with how much boost you can run safely on a stock internals - most agree at 8psi daily is the max safe amount you that should be ran on stock internals.
