GOD...WHY ME????
Well guys..as some of you read..I rebuilt my gsr and it wouldnt crank...after scratching my head for a few days, I just got it towed to a shop. Guess what the problem was....my compression. Here are the numbers...125, 115, 75, 0.
Before we talk about how terrible the numbers are...here is the setup.
94 b18c1
ENDYN ported head/flat exhaust valves(claimed .2 more compression)
ITR cams/valvesprings/intake valves/portflow retainers
Skunk2 manifold/camgears
JDM 4-1 w/2.5 carsound
RC 64mm t/b
JDM ITR pistons and spoon headgasket(ruined by the way...waste of 125
)
shotpeened gsr rods and honed block/balanced rotating assembly
I am more than frustrated. The shop did a leakdown....turned out to be my piston rings...I did them right dammit...I swear I did!! I guess not tho...well..turns out that im going to be without my car one more week...this will make four weeks total of a daily driver M.I.A. Gosh..IM soooo frustrated....wasted headgasket...no daily driver for 4 weeks...not be able to see my girlfriend(cuz she doesnt drive)..and bumming rides from my friends(and my parents..lol). Sorry...I know its a little OT...just had to vent, and I like you guys better than any other forum..

what exactly did you do wrong? unless you broke the rings when you were installing them i dont see how you could mess it up so much that you only get that much compression. maybe the machine shop messed up with the bore/hone job?
