ive seen real mugen chips, and one of em was identical to the one floating around.
so thats not true. but yah it will probably just waste your gas, and be risky to over rev.

A tune is a tune.. There isnt anything magical about the way spoon or mugen makes their stuff.. Buying a chip from a company in my opinion is a stupid idea..

Mugen has no idea whats in your car or how far from a correct tune you have..

If I had a B18C1 with and IHE.. Is my tune going to be the same as a person with the same motor and just a header, NO.. Each tune is different since each setup varies..

well, i look at the "mugen chip" like this. no one in japan messes with D series motors. I know, ive been there.

so for a "real mugen" chip, it probably isn't worth anything. if you are gonna chip anything, use the skunk2 map, and work from that. there chips are for pretty much stock motors. (internal wise)

just my $.02
